I have always been a big fan of Valentine’s Day! Even as a single gal for many years I was always super excited to have an excuse to lavish gifts and such upon loved ones on this special day. I think this must’ve come from my parents. Every Valentine’s Day my mom and dad were so awesome about giving my sister and I special treats for Valentine’s. Mom would make sure we had plenty of Valentine’s cards to take to school, and we would make our own Valentine’s box to carry any special cards we might get that day. And I always looked forward to the chocolates, of course! What is it about chocolate that tastes even better than it’s daily usual once a holiday comes ’round?!
In addition to my love for Valentine’s Day, I. LOVE. CUPCAKES. They are my most favorite treat in the universe! They’re beautiful to look at and tasty, tasty, tasty! I’m a sugar frosting girl, so I love it piled on nice and high atop a moist, cakey morsel of sweet delight. Cupcakes. They’re a good time!
