Today is Good Friday. We watched The Passion of the Christ last night as we prepared to meditate throughout this day on the sacrifice our Lord Jesus made on the cross. I am freshly riveted and sobered by His great love and His overwhelming death and resurrection. My perspective on what’s truly important has been renewed. My life is and must continue to be solely for His glory. All of the cares of this world shrink to nothing as I look upon the cross, fixing my eyes ever on Jesus. I am grateful beyond what I can express in words for Jesus and my relationship with Him. I encourage you today to look to Him, turn your eyes upon Him, live for Him.
For your Easter Sunday celebration I’ve searched high and low to round-up all the best of the best of Easter centerpieces to adorn your table. Not to worry, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a DIY addict or just looking for something quick and easy to put on the table. As I mentioned earlier this month when I shared all of my Easter creations (which you can see here), we’ll be spending Easter Sunday at my mom’s house. However, I just couldn’t help but put together my own Easter centerpiece to enjoy this season. It’s simple and I can leave it up after Easter.
I got the vase and flowers from The Hob for just $20 total (2 stems of paper flowers for $5 a piece, vase for $10). The salt and pepper shakers (aren’t they adorable?!?!) are from Anthropologie. My husband bought them for me at Christmas. What a guy!
As you are planning your own table scape and centerpiece ideas for Easter Sunday, here are some awesome ways to simply bump up the decor on your Easter table.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. | Psalm 23:5
