Around Cinco de Mayo time each year I can hear the sounds of La Cucuracha playing in my head. I don’t know any of the words or the tune except the one part, “La cucuracha, la cucuracha…” The rest just ends up sounding like, “la la la la la la la la.” I grew up in a predominantly hispanic region of California, so I have good memories of Cinco de Mayo. In honor of this festive Mexican holiday, I thought I’d share a few bright and cheery party ideas.
